Young Women and Knives

I have awesome parents, not only are they awesome dancers, but at all times they are willing to serve.
(They are also AMAZING dancers)
I am a Mia Maid adviser for my ward and we have mutual on Wednesdays. On one of those Wednesdays, we were suppose to have a combined mutual with the boys, but things changed and that didn't happen. So I was left with a mutual and no time to plan it. I had asked my parents to teach the girls about Colombia later in the month. So here a I was with out a planned mutual and no time. So I did the one thing I do best and that was to call my mom. I called my mom to Tell my dad if they could do the mutual activity that they were planning early, and without any doubt they (my mom) said YES!!!
So that night we were going to have Colombian Hot Chocolate (its the best) learn how to make Cheese souffle and make swans out of apples. Swans out of apples?" you say.... My dad is like McGiver.

My family use to own a catering business back in Colombia and he can make whales, sharks and other animal out of fruit.

So back to the story, I called the girls and told them to bring a knofe to mutual to make the swans, the girls all brought a knife to mutual and I wondered what went through the parents head as their girls told them "I need a knife for mutual". So the girls came and made swans out of apples and LOVED it!! Here are the girls with their creations!
THANK YOU MOM AND DAD, without you I would have had no mutual!!!
