We have a wonderful niece that just turned 3. For her birthday, we took her to build a bear. She has never gone out with out her mom, but since we are her favorite aunt and uncle we knew that we weren't going to have a problem.
We went to the San Tan Village mall, and what a confusing mall!!! When go to build a bear, you choose everything, and for a 3 year old there were too many options. She selected a pink and white bear, which she later named Panda
When they stuff the bear, they have you do a ceremony that is really cute. Miss H selected the option. that when she hugs Panda, you can feel her heart beat.
Then she gave Panda a bath, and it was time to dress her with the help of uncle Pher. Did you know that they have underwear for the bears? As soon as she saw the pricess section of the dresses she knew that Panda needed to have one. Her options were Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, or sleeping beauty. She didn't like the yellow, and Miss H already has a Cinderella dress. That left Ariel and Sleeping beauty. She REFUSED to even look at the Ariel dress, and I thought that that was odd, so I asked her. Apparently, she had played dolls with Uncle Pher (the boys were gone) and all he would do was sing the songs, but to be funny he sang them as Scuttle, the tone deaf seagull in the movie.
She ended up selecting the Sleeping Beauty dress and with the help of Uncle Pher they got her dressed, put on her shoes, and found her a purse that matched the outfit.
Then we filled out her birth certificate and we were off to have lunch. I love how happy she is!
This is a picture of Pher during lunch. Isn't he dreamy?
